Founded by three starving college students – Erich Schmidt (Gatsby), Jeff Amend (Wolf), and Jena Brown (Star) – Phoenix Culture is becoming a cutting edge clothing company. We live fun lives and we write about it here too. We created this company in January of 2009 with the dreams of becoming successful enough to pay for our gas each month. A Women’s Line – Fenix – is being lead by Jena Brown and will debut soon.
This company is about the people, about all of you who follow us. This site is a journal of our lives, a diary if you will. But most importantly, our Mission is to inspire. A Phoenix is a thing or person of peerless beauty or excellence. When you wear our clothes we want you to strive to attain that beauty – whether it be inner or outer – and that excellence in whatever it is that you do. This company was founded on the belief that the threads you dawn every day can be symbol of what you strive to be. It can be a reminder that you are what you wear. Our mission ensures that every thread sewn and every shirt designed is pure and done with the utmost care and excellence. We aren’t just a clothing company, we’re creating a culture.
